NETHERLANDS CORONAVIRUS DASHBOARD – This platform created and maintained by the Dutch government provides a wealth of information about the novel coronavirus and Covid-19, the illness it causes. The defaults are set to the national level but you can drill down to your location to see the current situation. The column on the left shows confirmed cases per 100,000 residents, the number of infectious people per every 100,000, the reproduction (R) multiple, hospital and intensive care admissions. Clicking on any of them brings up further details of that topic.
CORONA TRACKER NETHERLANDS – This coronavirus information platform was created and maintained by a team of international doctors and provides easy-to-understand data about the virus not just in the Netherlands but all countries. Each country has its own page.
RIVM – The Dutch Institute for Public Health & the Environment offers a wealth of information about the coronavirus in the Netherlands, in English. Covid-19 subjects such as children & school, face masks & gloves, the Dutch Outbreak Management Team (OMT), pets, pregnancy, spread of the virus, travel policies and vaccine development are all covered. Although this site no longer provides daily stats for the number of infections, hospital admissions and deaths, they provide a weekly summary published every Tuesday which provides a good overview of the current situation in the Netherlands.
